SOAR Solutions Group exists because too many businesses are spending too much on technology that isn't earning its keep — and not because the tech is bad, but because nobody in the room can spend the time to make it work. We're the people who spend that time.
What we are.
SOAR is a technology consultancy in Tracy, California, focused on small and mid-sized businesses that need their software and systems to start serving their growth instead of dragging it down. We assess what you have, modernize what's worth keeping, automate what's costing you time, and lift the team that runs it — so the gains stick after we step back.
We're principal-led, which means the operator who scopes the work also runs the work. We don't proposalize, slide-deck, or hand off. We sit alongside your team, ship the things that actually move the work forward, and leave you stronger than we found you.
What we're not.
SOAR isn't an outsourced engineering shop. We don't build things and disappear. We're not a strategy firm — we don't write thought-leadership decks and leave you to figure out the doing. We're not a staffing agency, though we do help with hiring inside engagements. And we're not interested in becoming a 50-person consultancy. The principal-led model is the product.

Robert Gonzalez
Robert Gonzalez has spent three decades taking ideas from whiteboard to production. He's an operator first — someone who has spent his career doing the work consultancies talk about, from inside the businesses doing it rather than across a conference table. Engineering leadership, platform modernization, AI strategy, organizational design, and the unglamorous middle layer of making a new thing work inside an old company. That's the lane.
He founded SOAR Solutions Group to bring that operator's perspective to businesses that need a partner — not a pitch deck. Most consultancies optimize for the proposal phase. SOAR optimizes for the day you stop needing us.
Robert is co-principal of LevelUp Success Innovations (opens in new tab) alongside his wife René, who leads the human resources, leadership, and life-skills sides of the portfolio. He's a working executive — currently active in technology leadership roles in addition to running SOAR engagements — which keeps the operator's perspective sharp.
When he's not building software or coaching technology leaders, Robert mentors youth in his community, develops emerging engineering talent, and writes occasionally about the practice of building both systems and the people who run them.
